Neil Cotts

The Cubs acquired left handed relief pitcher Neil Cotts from the White Sox for David Aardsma. Cotts appeared in 70 games for the White Sox posting an ERA of 5.17 in a very powerful division. To me his struggles were all mental, as he had a 7.39 ERA at home, but when he was home he dominated with a 2.77 ERA. This trade is beneficial for both clubs as the White Sox get a young, right handed flamethrower who will probably transform into a closer in a few years.
