Soriano Makes a Good First Impression
Posted on February 16th, 2007 by Joe
According to Cubs.com, Alfonso Soriano arrived to training camp on Thursday, 4 days earlier than required. This says alot about his character. He is not there to win a starting job because he knows he already has it. He is doing it so that he can get better and meet some of his teammates early on. Other notable early arrivals are Scott Moore and Felix Pie who will be fighting for a spot on the 25-man roster and Ryan Theriot who will try to get a spot as an everyday starter.
