On Sunday Cornelius Floyd, father of Cliff, died after suffering a stroke. Floyd was put on the bereavement list and he was able to see his father one more time before he passed after this long and painful time for the Floyd family. On 6-29, Cornelius Floyd came to watch the baseball game and he looked very unhealthy, but that made it all the more emotional. You could see that Floyd was bothered by this as he was not performing up to expectations on the field. I think Floyd will come up in a few days and play well for his dad. His mind will be clear and he will go on a tear and help this team. I am ready for a feel good story regarding the Cubs, and Cliff Floyd can make this happen.
