The Tell-Tale Heart is a story about a mad man who ends up killing another man. After the murder, he ends up hearing his victim’s endless heartbeat… but after thinking about it I don’t think it was his victim’s heart that he was hearing … I think it was the loud […]

With things looking up right now for Cubs fans we have to ask ourselves one thing … Who is the first half MVP?
Carlos Zambrano -Pitched extremely well of late, but he started out so terrible that he hasn’t redeemed himself yet.
Aramis Ramirez -Absolutely scorched the ball of late and he keeps getting game winning hits […]

After walking a batter in the ninth inning, Dempster threw a ball to Ken Griffey Jr. At this time, new manager Lou Piniella came steaming out of the dugout and started yelling at him. We will never know what exactly was said, because none of the major magazines can say what Lou said to him. […]

No, this article is not about Zambrano’s contract. This article is about Carlos Zambrano’s continuous struggles on opening day. The last two opening days Zambrano only lasted 4 and 2/3 innings, but the Cubs supported him by scoring 16 runs. Not this time. Zambrano gave up 6 hits, 5 walks, 1 HBP and 5 ER […]

Carlos Zambrano originally set a deadline for opening day as contract extensions. He has now gotten rid of that deadline date, so they can work out a few more kinks in the contract. This sounds like they are very close to reaching an agreement and that Big Z wants to stay.

Kerry Wood, who will make the transition from starter to the bullpen, is injured once again. It is a strain near his elbow that should sideline him for a few days. This is very scary stuff and it is starting to get annoying if you are a Cubs fan. The hot tub incident I was […]

Mark Prior is going to make a minor league start for his next ST outing. He is going to make this minor league start to help bring up his confidence slowly and let his mechanics kick back into gear. I think this is a very smart move and getting his confidence back should help […]

Today, Mark Prior threw his second ST game. His line was very bad again as he gave up 4 hits, 4 ER and 3 BB’s in 2 IP. The good thing about his start today is that he got through 2 innings and that his velocity is up in the high 80’s, unlike […]
