I am getting very sick of the media talking about how the Cubs have spent $300,000,000 this offseason. By saying this, they are implying that the Cubs payroll is in the $300,000,00 range and acting as if though we have a payroll bigger than the Yankees. What the Cubs did do is guarantee over $300,000,000 […]

After finishing last season with 66 wins and last place in the NL, only four players,Ramirez, Ward, Cedeno, and prospect Brian Dopirak, have yet to show up for camp … and the day that they have to report […]

According to Cubs.com, Alfonso Soriano arrived to training camp on Thursday, 4 days earlier than required. This says alot about his character. He is not there to win a starting job because he knows he already has it. He is doing it so that he can get better and meet some of his […]

The biggest question right now that needs to be answered before the regular season begins is not only a big question for next year, but also for the future of this organization. Zambrano has hinted that if he does not get signed before the regular season that he will walk after the season ends. If […]

Well, the good news is that both Mark Prior AND Wade Miller threw off a mound today, which is already much farther along than where they were last year. The bad news is that Kerry Wood is injured again! Not to fret though, because he bruised his ribs and chest after falling out of a […]
